'It is with a heavy heart and much pain I write this in Memory of Big Al. Al's passing has touched so many lives and have left so many unanswered questions. I /We will miss him more then words can say. Any child reading this please know Al loved you all and you were all his children. Ron and I were so fortunate to be a part of Al's life as were so many others. In our lifetime we are lucky if we know or befriend a man like Al and for that I am very thankful. I will miss him (more then I even realize at this time) But remember, if you are a coach, a child, an adult, Al has taught us all many lessons just through his being humble and just being himself. If we remember that maybe each of us will be able to carry on what Al stood for and be kind and humble too. My heart goes out to all the kids that will never get to play for, or know, big Al . We are the fortunate ones that we were touched by an angel! We love you and miss you!
